ANDROID-SUPERUSER. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or Galaxy S5 | According my review and also blogwalking so let's dig a little deeper into these two smart phones and ask the important questions everyone thinking about buying one of these needs to know.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4
There’s a lot to like about the Galaxy Note 4 including from the seamless design which houses the 5.7 inch screen through to the ability to allow a user to multitask via split and pop-up screens. The Quad HD Super AMOLED display gives you crisp picture quality and a super high screen resolution which is perfect for making use of the 16 megapixel camera that the Galaxy Note 4 comes with. The camera is very clever, it can make even the world’s worst photographer look instagram-worthy thanks to it’s Smart OIS (optical image stabiliser) which prevents blurry shots and uses HDR to ensure the picture is as close to real life as can be.
You can scroll, tap and type with the S pen which is larger and previous versions and more like an actual pen rather than a stylus. You’ll be able to do whatever you like for longer as the fast charging technology and ultra power saving mode mean you’ll get more juice out of it before it dies. This phablet packs a punch that’s hard to beat.
Samsung Galaxy S5
And so we move onto the Samsung Galaxy S5 which is equally as good looking as the Note 4.
One advantage the Galaxy S5 holds over its little brother is the Samsung Smart Switch technology which makes if effortless to transfer content to a new device. Better still, unlike Apple who lock you into iTunes and the iCloud, Samsung’s Smart Switch gives you the freedom to move from other smart phone platforms without losing your music, photos and other data. That’s a big plus.
The camera is the same 16 Megapixel camera found on the S4 except it doesn’t have the technology to stop blurry photos, instead it has Faster Focus technology which allows you to capture images fast using the super quick autofocus feature; perfect for sporting events or anywhere you need to take instant photos before the moment is gone forever.
There’s also an in-built heart monitor for health types and faster download, streaming and upload times thanks to the fastest Wi-Fi connectivity in the world.
Conclusion
There’s not a lot between these two heavyweight contenders and one thing’s for sure, no matter what happens Samsung wins; a nice problem to have if you’re the German manufacturer.
In conclusion, we don’t have a definitive conclusion as their so similar, the preference for either device will come down to the person and their personal tastes.
The S4 is great if you need a phablet that you’ll use for more work orientated tasks where you’ll need multiple windows and fast note taking. It’s also good for taking good photos so one for the instagrammer or the Tweeter.
The S5 is awesome for the person who leads an action packed lifestyle who wants to capture moments quickly and share them as fast as possible whilst always receiving updates as fast as they can. So, the question isn’t which one is the best, but rather which one would you prefer?
